XBMOVIES respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid DMCA takedown requests.
Our Position on Copyright
XBMOVIES does not host, upload, or store any video content on its servers. The Site indexes and embeds video content from independent third-party streaming providers. We act as an aggregator of publicly available embed links, similar to a search engine.
That said, we take copyright seriously and will respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown notices by removing links to infringing content from our index.
Because we do not host video files, removing a link from our Site does not remove the file from the internet — you would need to also contact the hosting provider directly. We can only remove our index links.
Safe Harbor — DMCA Section 512
XBMOVIES qualifies for the safe harbor provisions of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) as a service provider that stores information at the direction of users and responds to valid takedown notices. Upon receiving a compliant DMCA notice, we will remove the identified content from our index expeditiously.
How to Submit a Takedown Request
A valid DMCA takedown notice must include:
- Your legal name and contact information (email, phone)
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific URL(s) on https://xbmovies.com that you claim are infringing
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notices
If you believe content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@xbmovies.com. A valid counter-notice must include your identification, the content that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was in error, and your consent to jurisdiction.
Response Time
We aim to process valid DMCA notices within 3 business days. Expedited processing is available for clear-cut cases. Notices that do not meet DMCA requirements may be disregarded.
